Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) actively supports the running of the surgery and aims to meet quarterly with representatives from the practice. This provides an opportunity to keep up-to-date with surgery news and changes, as well as local/regional/national initiatives and to offer suggestions and support to the practice.

Anyone who is a registered patient at the practice can apply to join the PPG. (The Practice and the PPG have the right to refuse an individual wanting to join the PPG if it considers it to be in the best interest of the individual or Practice.)

The quarterly meeting of the main group takes place at the surgery. This is for up to 16 members and beyond this we are looking to develop an online community that the surgery and the PPG can contact to seek feedback and comments on specific issues. PPG members are expected to take an active role, undertaking a range of tasks and activities throughout the year.
