Community Nurses

The district nurses provide nursing care mainly for the elderly and housebound.

Mental Health Worker – Clinical Psychologists attend the practice twice weekly to offer services to help develop coping strategies to manage your current difficulties. These services include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Guided Self-Help; Community Links; Books on Prescription; Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; and the Feeling Good Course.  For more information please speak with your GP or see the service website: http://icope.nhs.uk

Smoking Cessation Advisor – We have weekly pre-bookable clinics for smoking cessation.  Please ask at reception for an appointment.

Alcohol & Drug Counsellor – For concerns about alcohol or drug usage please book a support session with CGL Counsellor, Yatish Chavda, in his Friday clinics at the centre.  Please ask your GP about the CGL service or visit their website: www.ChangeGrowLive.org
